Ecologistics, Inc and the SLO Beaver Brigade are collaborating on an Upper Salinas River Center in Atascadero, California to highlight and elevate the importance of the health of the Salinas River. Educational tours, displays, events, research, river art, for all ages are priority visions for this center.

Current Working Vision:
A hub for research and community involvement, the Salinas River Center’s mission is to bring the community together in support of a healthy Salinas River Watershed. Through interactive science, guided outdoor activities, art, research and storytelling, the center will bring the history of the river to light, be a catalyst for connection, and provide direct pathways for actions that enhance the health of the river and thus the health of us all.
We have hosted two informational sessions in Atascadero. One on September 17, 2024 and another on October 28th, 2024. We will be hosting more informational sessions soon. Check back for upcoming dates.
